Just disable FS Global 2010 North America, FS Global 2010 South America and FS Global 2010 Antarctica in your scenery library.ĥ.

You can very well use FS Global Ultimate the Americas together with FS Global 2010 for the rest of the world. Turn on the mesh and there is a huge difference.Ģ. If you want to find out, run the tool and deselect the scenery and go to MGGT, La Auaro Guatemala, a very terrain filled place. I had Ultimate for months without realsiing no differences until I enabled the tool.

Finally, there is a tool that changes your FSX scenery CFG for Ultimate provided by Pilot. Mesh always goes into your FSX scenery folder. The files install into your FSX scenery folder as you say. It gives you a tool to scan for airports that have problems and will fix the elevation for you.ĥ. FS Global fixes the incorrect elevations FSX has but doing so causes problems around as only the airport is fixed. Some airports have elevation problems but they offer a tool that can fix it pretty easily. If you fly a lot in these places I recommend Ultimate.Ĥ. I recommend Global 2010 if you are flying outside North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. I did not own Global 2010 but I have read, like I mentioned for question 2, the ultimate series are of high detail they say. Personally I chose the regions I mostly fly inģ. They would not merge well as it will be blending less detailed data with high detailed data. FS Global 'Murica is more hihgly detailed mesh. Considering I have a medium end system for FSXĢ. I have noticed no difference for load times with the mesh. Thanks for any thoughts, info, or advice.ġ. They are making an edition of FS Global 2010 that supposedly is compatible with FTX products.

maybe the mesh always installs in the FSX folder. these are huge installs from 20 to 40 gigs! Must they be installed on the FSX drive? Would it slow the show down too much if they are on another drive, if possible. or are some of the larger ones correct?ĥ) And finally.

how do your compare the appearance in areas where Ultimate is installed.Ĥ) Are all of the airports uncorrected for terrain elevation deviations. (on average) FS Global 2010 mesh for the rest of the world?ģ) if you have owned both Ultimate and FS Global 21010. yielding the higher resolutions Stateside while offering the lower res. So I'm looking to go the FSGLobal direction.ġ) How does the high resolution mesh affect the load times? I have a large SSD.Ģ) If I purchased the N/S America mesh in "Ultimate," and I eventually added the FS Global 2010, do they work together?.
